Bridge Re-Glue
Bridge repair on a Merida semi-acoustic. Using StewMac tools I was able to safely heat the glue up to enable me to carefully remove the bridge without tearing up wood or lacquer. The bridge itself was cleaned with some reshaping, and the guitar prepped also. Originally the bridge was glued to both bare wood and lacquer, and this contributed to it failing. With surplus lacquer removed, I used a bridge caul to reattach from the top and inside. One clamp shown, but three were used. Restrung with the same gauge and tuning as before, but this time there's no belly bulge and the bridge is solid.

Pickup Replacement
The customer provided replacement pickups, but this one (Dimarzio D-Sonic) was formally mounted direct to the guitar. To make the height adjustable I soldered a nut underneath for the screw to 'grab'. It's also reversible if the owner wants to change them out again.

Set-up - Warwick Corvette 5 String Bass
This had never been set-up. The owner was initially cautious because the value on these has quadrupled. All that muck and tarnish was removed from the frets, and the action was dropped super low (with no buzz of course). They were so impressed they left me a 5* review, and also followed up by email with how much better it now plays.

Locking Tuner Replacement
On this old 'Super Strat' the customer wanted to replace the stock tuners with locking tuners. Used a reamer to widen the holes slightly to allow a snug fit.

Nut Replacement - Epiphone SG
This nut was damaged during a commute so the customer brought it over for a replacement and set-up. The replacement was a TUSQ-XL, sanded to size, and slots filed for optimum height at the first fret.

Fret Level, Crown and Polish - Fender Telecaster
This Tele had been played most days for around 20 years. From the nut to the ninth fret, there were groves all over the place. We discussed re-frets initially, but there was just enough meat left on these to level instead.
